ALAMPUR  JOGULAMBA DEVI  TEMPLE:
Alampur Jogulamba Devi Temple which is present  in Jogulamba Gadwal district is one of the most   famous temple of  18 Shakti Peethas in India.

The Jogamba (Jogulamba)temple is located  at the union of two Hindu rivers like  Krishna and Tungabhadra.

Many devotees will be  consider  as (Dakshina Kasi) or Sangama Kshetram. Alampur  temple is in the state of Telangana, in India.

Alampur town having  is at a distance of just 28 km  away from kurnool city. It is all believed that the upper jaw of  tooth of Devi  has fallen  here at this place.

 Alampur Jogulamba temple  is considered the Shakti of Bala Brahmeswara Swamy and the actual construction of the temple dates back  here to 6th century.

The temple architecture is most  wonderful and the place is excellent  which is  surrounded by Nallamala hills.

 Jogulamba is also known as Chandi where the devi is in sitting posture and devotees  observe Lizard, skull, Bat and Scorpion adorned in her hair at the time of  puja aarti.

This temple  is an ancient hindu temple which was completely knocked down during the Muslim invasions at the time of 14th century.

The temple was renovated and reconstructed recently in the year 2005.

Jogulamba and Brahmeshwara Temples  are predominant deities at Alampur Temple. temple town is present on the left bank of river Tungabhadra.

There are nearly  9 beautiful  Nava Brahma Temples dedicated to god Lord maha Siva of which only Bala Brahma temple was completely opened for the visitors at any time.
Devotees also  spare some time to visit the Museum and which was discovered in  the 6th century artifacts.
Temples are mainly  dedicated to Lord Brahma which  is very rare in this India and Alampur stands out as a popular pilgrim centre in south India. This is the important  place where Brahma performed a great penance for many years and pleased Lord Shiva, who granted him the power of Creating this Universe.

 Temple is famous Temple present in Gadwal district, Telangana State, India.
The temple is located at a distance of 28 km  away from Kurnool city in Andhra Pradesh, which is away from  90 km from Mahabubnagar,  and then 213 km from Hyderabad,  while 365 km  away from Tirupati,  and 478 km away  from Vijayawada.

 The road ways NH7 is the very  nearest highway passing close to this village and you can easily reach to Alampur Cross Roads and there available a taxi/auto or bus to reach the temple, which is located roughly at a distance of around 15 km to the temple .
APSRTC buses  run frequent buses from Kurnool to Alampur Temple village at any time .
By Train 
The railway station is present at Jogulamba Halt here. Only trains  few will halt there .

ACOMMODATION   FACILITY   AT   ALAMPUR:
There  are  only  very few  little accommodation facilities will be  available at Alampur Jogulamba temple.

R&B Guest House  is present at the near by place of temple is normally given to VIPs, if these houses are vacant, then only they are allotted for the normal tourists for rest purpose .
Pilgrims will stay at Kurnool, where many lodges are present offering good food and  comfortable   accommodation facility.
